Last updated: 27 October 2026
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the T-Rex Shield Protection website at www.trexbashplate.com.au and purchases made through our online store.
The website is operated by:
Next Auto Group Pty Ltd
ABN: 17 524 230 875
Trading as: T-Rex Shield Protection
Address: 17 Norwich Road, Ingleburn NSW 2565, Australia
Email: info@nipponimports.com.au
In these Terms, “T-Rex Shield Protection”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Next Auto Group Pty Ltd in connection with this business.
“Customer”, “you” and “your” refer to any person accessing our website, purchasing our products or engaging our services.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms to the extent they apply to your use or transaction. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or place an order through it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws.
2. Our Products and Services
T-Rex Shield Protection offers automotive accessories, vehicle protection products, suspension upgrades and related products through our online store.
Depending on the product listing, we may also offer fully fitted upgrade packages and separately arranged installation services.
Product descriptions, photographs, specifications, included components, compatibility information and pricing are provided on the relevant product pages or in any written quotation or confirmation supplied to you.
We aim to keep product information accurate and up to date. If you need clarification about a product's specifications, intended application or installation requirements, please contact us before purchasing.
Product photographs are intended to represent the relevant products. Any material differences between a photograph and the actual product will be addressed in accordance with applicable law.
3. Product Compatibility and Vehicle Fitment
Automotive accessories and protection products may be designed for specific vehicle models, model years, variants or configurations.
Before purchasing, you should review the product description and compatibility information carefully.
Where compatibility is uncertain, please contact us before ordering and provide accurate details about your vehicle, including the make, model, year, variant and any relevant existing modifications.
Unless we have expressly confirmed compatibility in writing, you are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for your intended application.
Where we provide product-specific advice, compatibility confirmation or a representation about suitability, that information remains subject to applicable consumer law.
For products intended for installation, we recommend professional installation by a suitably qualified installer. Installation must follow the applicable product instructions and relevant safety requirements.
Nothing in this section removes any rights you may have where a product is not fit for its disclosed purpose, does not match its description or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
4. Prices, Currency and GST
Prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD).
GST is included in displayed consumer prices where applicable. Any additional delivery charge or other applicable fee will be disclosed during the purchasing process.
We aim to ensure that prices are accurate when displayed. If an obvious pricing, listing or technical error occurs, we will take reasonable steps to correct it and contact affected customers where necessary.
We will not treat a pricing error as automatically cancelling a customer's rights under applicable law.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a price applies only to the product, package or service described in the relevant listing. Optional accessories, additional work or services outside the stated inclusions may incur additional charges, which will be disclosed before you agree to them.
Promotional prices, advertised savings and limited offers are subject to the specific terms stated in the relevant promotion and applicable law.
5. Orders and Acceptance
When you place an order through our Shopify store, you are submitting an offer to purchase the selected products or services.
Order acknowledgements, payment receipts and order confirmations may be sent electronically.
An order will be treated as accepted in accordance with the confirmation and ordering process applicable to the transaction. A payment receipt or acknowledgement of an order request should not be taken as confirmation of an installation appointment unless the appointment has also been confirmed.
We may need to contact you to verify order information, confirm vehicle compatibility, clarify product inclusions or discuss availability.
If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate resolution, including any refund or other remedy required by law.
We do not intend to use these Terms to cancel accepted orders arbitrarily or to avoid obligations arising from an accepted purchase.
6. Payment Terms
Payments for online orders are processed through the payment options available at Shopify checkout, including Shopify Payments where applicable.
You must provide accurate information necessary to complete your purchase and payment.
For the fully fitted BYD Shark 6 upgrade package, full payment is required to secure an installation booking slot.
Payment alone does not confirm a particular appointment date unless we have confirmed that appointment in writing.
The available payment methods, total payable amount and applicable charges will be displayed during checkout or otherwise disclosed before you commit to a purchase.
You must not submit payment using an unauthorised payment method or another person's payment details without permission.
If a payment is declined or cannot be processed, the order or booking may not proceed until the payment issue has been resolved.
7. Fully Fitted BYD Shark 6 Upgrade Package
The fully fitted BYD Shark 6 Complete Upgrade Package is offered subject to the inclusions, price, compatibility requirements and other details displayed on the applicable product page.
The package is currently intended for eligible customers in:
-
New South Wales (NSW)
-
Queensland (QLD)
-
Victoria (VIC)
Installation availability and eligibility must be confirmed before an appointment is finalised.
Monthly booking availability
We aim to release five installation booking slots per month for this package.
Customers may register their interest or request a booking in advance. Appointments may be available as early as the following month, subject to availability and confirmation.
The advertised number of slots relates to booking availability and is not a guarantee that a particular date will be available.
Please do not assume that an appointment has been secured until we confirm the booking and appointment details in writing.
Vehicle and installation requirements
You must provide accurate information about your vehicle and disclose relevant modifications or other circumstances that may affect product compatibility or installation.
We may need to clarify these details before confirming an installation.
The scope of the fitted package is limited to the inclusions expressly stated on the relevant product page or in an agreed written quotation. Additional accessories, repairs, modifications or installation work are not included unless expressly agreed.
Any further work or additional costs must be discussed with you before being undertaken.
8. Separately Booked Installation Services
Where we offer installation services separately from a product purchase, the applicable scope of work, price, appointment details and inclusions will be communicated through the relevant product listing, quotation or booking confirmation.
You must provide accurate vehicle information and disclose circumstances relevant to the proposed work.
We will advise you if additional work appears necessary or if circumstances arise that materially affect the agreed scope. Additional work or charges require your agreement, except where otherwise lawfully authorised.
Installation services will be provided with due care and skill and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees applying to installation or other services.
9. Shipping, Delivery and Collection
We offer shipping to Australian destinations, subject to product availability, delivery arrangements and any restrictions disclosed for the relevant product.
Delivery charges, estimated timeframes and applicable delivery conditions are set out in our separate Shipping Policy or disclosed during the purchasing process.
Any delivery timeframe provided is an estimate unless expressly confirmed as a guaranteed timeframe.
You are responsible for supplying accurate delivery information and ensuring that the delivery address is accessible for the selected delivery method.
If a delivery is delayed, damaged, lost or incorrect, please contact us with your order details so we can investigate and determine an appropriate resolution.
Nothing in this section removes any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Order Changes and Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@nipponimports.com.au.
For change-of-mind cancellation requests, you should contact us before the product has been dispatched or installation has commenced.
A cancellation request is not confirmed until we notify you that it has been accepted.
We will assess the request based on the order status, any applicable booking arrangements and relevant legal obligations. If a cancellation is accepted, we will confirm the applicable refund or other arrangements.
For custom-built, made-to-order or special-order products, cancellation arrangements may depend on the stage of preparation or procurement. Please contact us promptly if you need to request a cancellation.
For fitted packages and installation appointments, any rescheduling or cancellation arrangement will be confirmed with you in writing.
Nothing in this section excludes any cancellation right, refund entitlement or other remedy that applies under law.
11. Returns, Refunds and Replacements
Our Returns and Refunds Policy explains the process for change-of-mind returns, faulty or incorrect products, refunds, replacements and return shipping.
For eligible change-of-mind returns, our stated policy generally allows requests within 30 days of receiving a product, subject to the applicable return conditions.
Change-of-mind returns generally require products to be unused, uninstalled and in their original packaging. Installed products and custom or special-order products are generally excluded from change-of-mind returns.
These restrictions do not apply where they would unlawfully prevent a customer from exercising a right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a product is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another remedy depending on the circumstances.
Where a major failure occurs under the Australian Consumer Law, you may have the right to reject the product and choose a refund or replacement. For other failures, the available remedy depends on the nature of the problem and the law.
For full details, please refer to the Returns and Refunds Policy published on our website.
12. Warranties and Consumer Guarantees
Products and services supplied by T-Rex Shield Protection may be covered by express warranties or manufacturer warranties where stated.
Any express or manufacturer warranty operates in addition to applicable consumer guarantees.
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, consumers may have rights in relation to acceptable quality, fitness for disclosed purpose, correspondence with description and the provision of services with due care and skill.
These rights cannot be excluded by a website term, warranty statement or return policy.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Website Use and Acceptable Conduct
You agree to use our website lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with its operation or security.
You must not:
-
use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes;
-
attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or customer information;
-
introduce malicious software or interfere with website security;
-
misuse website forms or submit materially false information; or
-
copy, reproduce or commercially exploit our website content without appropriate permission.
We may take reasonable steps to protect the website, our customers and our business where we reasonably suspect misuse or a security risk.
Any action taken under this section must remain consistent with applicable law and any contractual obligations owed to customers.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the text, branding, graphics, product descriptions, website design and other content made available through our website are owned by or licensed to the relevant rights holder.
You may view and use the website for personal shopping and other lawful purposes.
You must not reproduce, publish, distribute or commercially exploit our protected content without permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section affects any intellectual property rights belonging to manufacturers, product suppliers or other third parties.
15. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website uses Shopify and related services to operate the online store and process transactions.
Third-party services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of a third-party service may therefore be subject to additional conditions imposed by that provider.
Our website may also contain links to third-party websites. We do not control websites operated independently by third parties.
Nothing in this section excludes any responsibility that we cannot lawfully exclude in relation to the products or services we supply.
16. Errors, Availability and Website Changes
We make reasonable efforts to keep our website, product listings and other information accurate and available.
Occasionally, information may contain errors, omissions or outdated details, or a technical issue may affect the website.
If we identify an error affecting a product listing or order, we will take reasonable steps to correct it and communicate with affected customers where appropriate.
We may update website content, product listings or website features as our business and products evolve.
Changes to our website do not remove rights or obligations arising from an order already accepted, except where a change is agreed or otherwise permitted by law.
17. Liability and Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable law.
Where permitted by law, each party remains responsible for its obligations under the relevant contract.
Any limitation of liability must be read subject to applicable legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law.
We do not seek to exclude liability for remedies that a customer is legally entitled to receive for a failure to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
18. Privacy and Personal Information
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.
When you place an order, submit an enquiry or otherwise interact with our website, we may collect and use personal information for purposes such as processing transactions, arranging delivery, responding to enquiries and administering our business.
Please review the Privacy Policy published on our website for further information about the personal information we collect, how we use it and how you can contact us about privacy matters.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, services or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.
The version applicable to an order will be determined in accordance with the terms agreed for that transaction and applicable law.
We will not use an update to these Terms to remove rights that customers are entitled to under applicable law.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory laws that apply to a customer's transaction.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or protections available under applicable consumer law in another Australian state or territory.
